The Story

Pillo Productions is an Oklahoma based film production company. Its founders, Jack Hummel and Carlos Avitiuh, began working together in the summer of 2021. Since their first collaboration with Fire in Little Africa and MoTown Records, the duo has since worked with Atlantic Records, Reach Records, 88Rec, and a multitude of amazing independent artists and brands.

Pillo has added several new members since its inception. Colton Smith, Marah Ranger, and Aspen Williamson recently joined our team and have been making a huge splash in our work. With the expansion we now offer a full range of production options including professional lighting, cinema and fpv drones, high quality graphic assets, and professional photography.

Pillo utilizes a range of cameras from RED systems, to Sony systems, however we specilize in Black Magic cameras, and have found a great work flow with their systems. We offer a variety of vhs and crt options. Depending on the project we love to shoot film any time we get a chance.

We are a top to bottom production company aiming at bringing your vision to the screen and beyond.

  • Jack Hummel

    FOUNDER /DIRECTOR / DP

    Jack is a tradesman with credits ranging from a lighting tech on Twisters(2024), to a DoP for the Cherokee Nation(2023), alongside Camera Operation and Assistant Camera credits for OWN and Discovery. Jack has worked with Pillo as a Director and DoP for all associated works.

  • Carlos Avitia

    FOUNDER/DIRECTOR/EDITOR

    Carlos has been with Pillo since 2022 and helped usher in the Pillo Productions we have today. Carlos has over 400 Music videos and brand videos under his belt that have millions of views all together, with a recent project in collaboration with Mr. 305 Records and Matt Paris climbing above 1.6 million views. Carlos recently completed a tour with RG and Reach Records.

  • Colton Smith

    GAFFER/DRONE OPERATOR/CAMERA OPERATOR

    Colton has been with Pillo since 2022, and has worked for Discovery Channel, First American Museum, Ted X, Own, and Signal Factory, with experience in short film and commercial settings.

  • Marah Ranger

    AD/ PRODUCTION MANAGER /PHOTOGRAPHER

    Marah began her journey with Pillo in early 2023 taking BTS photos and helping around set during our production days. Today she will assist in any and all production needs on the day as well as capture high quality media for Pillo and our Artists. Marah also photographs commercial, recaps, weddings, and portrait sessions ranging from artistic to cooperate.

  • Aspen Williamson

    CHIEF GRAPHIC LIAISON MANGER GENERAL

    Aspen has been working with Pillo since 2023 and became a team member soon after early collaborations. Aspen is the Owner and Operator of Bad Apples Market. Aspen specializes in graphic design and merchandising, garnering collaborations with a plethora of brands and companies including our own.
